About Me

I have been a certified personal trainer for 14 years. Working out and helping others attain their goals is very satisfying to me. The best feeling in the world is to be a part of a life changing experience. I love to see my clients transform themselves right in front of my eyes...through fitness and nutrition.

I was co-owner of Cornerstone Gym in Chicago which was a personal training and boxing gym. I have been involved in athletics basically my entire life. I played semi- pro football and was an amateur boxer. I also trained competitive boxing for 8 years. Actually my brother, Erick Correa just started his professional boxing/MMA career last year.

I do practice what I preach and I believe it's important to be a good example to my clients. If I'm out of shape how are you going to follow what I'm teaching. Working out and eating healthy is an essential part of my life. I grew up with asthma and I now have it under control by staying active.

I'm not necessarily the drill instructor type of trainer but I will be if that's what it takes. I understand how the body reacts to certain exercises so I take more of a scientific approach to training. I believe in working out efficiently so you can get the maximum results in the least amount of time. I don't care for 2 and 3 hour workouts. Sessions are normally 20 to 60 minutes. I would say that there is no set time for sessions. They are about an average of 40 minutes. Everybody responds differently to certain exercises so they will have to be customized on a daily basis.

My experience includes training athletes for strength and conditioning, baseball and football fundamentals, competitive and recreational boxers, bodybuilding competitors, weight loss and muscle mass building.
